Summary/Abstract: The author of the article, analyzing the mystical experience described in Yoga Sutras ofPatanjali, tries to answer the question: Is yoga a threat for a Christian? In respect of this, heanalyzes relevant source texts for yoga practice, its connotations and the teachings of theChurch’s magisterium.
