Summary/Abstract: The appearance of the concept of multifunctional development of rural areas and therefore the departure from agriculture as the sole or dominant feature of the countryside, was a reaction to the difficulties of the then development model. A difficult situation of agriculture in the 90s intensified even more interest in the activities of agritourism. At the same time urban residents sought alternative forms of recreation, relaxation in silence and healthy environment. The authors present the results of research conducted among people spending their holidays in agritourist farms of the West Pomeranian Voivodship. The research related to the consumer behavior on the agritourist market.
