Social tourism as the form of activity of disabled persons

Summary/Abstract: Tourism of persons with disabilities is increasingly becoming the subject of interest to many organizations, institutions and employees of science. For several years, studies concerning the role of social tourism have been carried out consecutively. It is very important that any form of promotion of leisure activities for disabled parts of society is necessary. The author of this article is scientifically interested in problems of people with disabilities. The article presents the results of studies concerning the tourist and leisure activity of disabled persons, clients of one of Szczecin centres which activities may be an example for many similar institutions.
