Towards Eco-logical Humanities: Or Rebuilding Knowledge for the Crisis

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present a proposal for supplementing the humanitieswith the posthuman activist onto-epistemological tools. The author, taking the conceptof the posthuman community as a starting point, performs the process of rethinkingthe oikology – a philosophy of the home that grew out of Silesia. Posthuman oikologyis intended to transcend the limitations encountered by ecological thought towards theauthor’s concept of eco-logic. Eco-logical humanities are intended as an affirmativeresponse to the cognitive crisis associated with, among other things, climate changeand the predicted catastrophe.
