Summary/Abstract: The essay attempts to consider the ontological presence of the climate change denial within the discourse of the anthropocene. The author asks about controversies raised upon the climate change topic. The author indicates that the anthropocene functions as an ambivalent philosophical metaphor, which underlies the contemporary ecological discourse. To understand ontological status of the climate change denial within the discourse of the anthropocene, author reflects on the issue of content control on the Internet. The author asks about the ways of the existence of a digital image that has been removed from the web, he also raises the issue of its non-presence. The non-presence idea turns out to be a concept, which can explain the interrelatedness of the climate change denial and the climate savers movements.
