SOME OBSERVATIONS REGARDING THE APPLICATION OF INTERNATIONAL JUDICIAL COOPERATION INSTRUMENTS IN CRIMINAL MATTERS IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MEMBER STATES AND GREAT BRITAIN, POST-BREXIT

Summary/Abstract: In the criminal cases before the judicial bodies, after January 2021, the date from which the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement and the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement apply in the United Kingdom's post-Brexit relationship with the European Union, the difficulties related to of the applicable instruments of international judicial cooperation in criminal matters. This article aims to detect issues related to international judicial cooperation in criminal matters between the United Kingdom and the European Union from this moment, as well as the problems that have arisen in this segment, in judicial practice, after the exit of Great Britain from the EU.
