Summary/Abstract: The text researches a new practice in the realm of managing music events, known as hybridity. It makes the first attempt to analyze the concept of hybridity in the context of current new terminology of events organization, summarizes the main characteristics, and defines the differences between virtuality and the features of live music events. The paper offers a systematization of hybrid events in terms of technology. This systemization would become an evolving framework that can be used to enhance both music events and the way those events are experienced. It forecasts sustainability in the development of the hybridity of music events due to the possibility of attracting a more extensive, more influential, actively participating audience without geographical limitations, also providing a range of activities and experiences for different senses that enrich the music experience itself, as well the possibility to save financial resources and last but not least – more significant attractiveness for sponsorship.
