Summary/Abstract: The Term Bank of the Republic of Lithuania was established in accordance with the Law on the Term Bank of the Republic of Lithuania adopted twenty years ago. On the occasion of the anniversary, the article examines the history and development of the Term Bank, focusing on both the legal regulation and the content of the database. The contribution of public institutions to the Term Bank and the characteristics of the legal term entries are examined.
