Summary/Abstract: Cezar Bolliac, poet, archaeologist, journalist, one of the leaders of the Revolution from 1848 in Wallachia, was a close friend of Al. I. Cuza, remaining loyal to him even after February 11, 1866. On the occasion of the centenary of his birth (1813-1913), the General Press Association from Romania organized a cultural Gala in the Athenaeum Hall in Bucharest. The audience was given a special issue of the newspaper „The Trumpet of the Carpathians” (a limited edition, published on December 23rd, 1913). „Paul Păltănea” History Museum of Galați owns a copy of that issue.
