Summary/Abstract: The article is of empirical character and communicates the author’s own research into stabilised musical aptitudes of pedagogy student with music and non-music majors in Poland. The innovativeness of the research consists in using the Advanced Measures of Music Audiation by Edwin E. Gordon for measuring musical aptitudes in Polish environment and, thus, verifying the theory of music learning in the Polish education reality. The results of the research unequivocally show that the aptitude scores are not much different than the results of international research.
