Summary/Abstract: This text is a discussion of the latest volume of Noul Atlas lingvistic român, pe regiuni. Moldova şi Bucovina, published in 2022. Although the structure of the volumes published so far is preserved, we cannot ignore the technical novelties (the editing is done with the help of a computer-aided editing software, the result of the cooperation between dialectologists and computer scientists). The documen- tary material contained in this volume (relating to time, meteorology, relief, school, army, administra- tion, trade) is interesting both for researchers in the fields of dialectology, history of the Romanian language, toponymy, ethnography, and for the general public. Referring to some of the maps in this volume, we have shown their importance for the onomasiological study of some terms.
