Thrace and Macedonia - an ancient echo in the Bulgarian language and nationality. The names Rossiya and Russia

Summary/Abstract: In ancient Egypt, the Great Universal Year, as well as the Sun were called the God Ra. The verbal meaning of Ra is a circle, according to the meaning of the word „radius“ – the God of Ra, of the circle. The personal name Trak, with the diminutive suffix `k` means „supremacy of the small circle“, „supreme sun“. The name of the Tracian tribe Edony, living along the lower stream of the Struma river, means „those connected with the water body“, and that of their neighbors „Macedonians“ means „the ones connected with mountain and water bodies“. The root of the name “Rossiya” is Ros, meaning „starry water circle“. The Thracians, Macedonians and Sklavs integrated into the Bulgarian nation are a single and indivisibly Bulgarian nation.
