Summary/Abstract: This paper gives a standardization of teaching mathematics in the third grade of general secondary school (grammar school). The standards are classified into three levels: adequate, intermediate and high level. The Adequate Standard represents the lowest level of students` achievements. That is a level sufficient for continuing further education. This level has to be accomplished almost by all students, or at least 90% of them. The Intermediate Standard shows the level of achievement which enables students to successfully continue their education. This level has to be accomplished by 75% of students. The High Standard can be accomplished only by a small number of students, about 10% of them. The students who accomplish this level can successfully continue studying mathematics.
