Summary/Abstract: Over the years, there have been changes not only in airport security systems, but in all activities directly related to aviation, and the constantly evolving platforms have a wide range of applications in both the civilian and military sectors. The authors chose to address the issues of the security system, as well as the threats posed by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) against airports, supporting them with relevant examples. On the other hand, the methods described by the authors to combat UAVs show that airports must be protected from their unauthorized presence. Therefore, the following aim was adopted: to indicate the essence of threats to airports that generate UAVs through the prism of existing ones. The topic addressed, is a very important factor, as it determines the lives of many people, while accumulating huge material resources.
