Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to analyze the ability to combat hybrid threats in order to increase the state’s resilience. The article characterizes hybrid threats and methods of conducting hybrid activities. Methods of combating this type of threats are described in turn. Then, the state’s resilience was presented on the example of Poland and actions to combat hybrid threats. The summary indicates that it is necessary to further strengthen the state’s resistance to this type of activities. The development of appropriate strategies and action plans is necessary to eff ectively counteract hybrid threats. Taking the above into account, a research problem was formulated: How does combating hybrid threats aff ect the strengthening of the state’s resilience? In order to answer the problem question, a critical analysis of literature, analysis of legal acts and documents, including the report of the Supreme Audit Offi ce on the state’s preparation for threats related to hybrid activities, as well as reliable internet sources were used.
