Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to identify new challenges and threats in the area of Security and occupational health in the organization. The first part presents the impact of safety culture on the occupational health and safety environment in the organization. Then, the legal aspect of the employer’s obligations towards the employee is described. The article describes the current threats and challenges in this area and their impact on the health and safety of the employee. The authors draw attention to the issue of occupational health and safety (OHS), which today is not one of the most important research areas in management, but is an inherent element of every organization, regardless of its size and nature. activity or industry. The research problem was formulated: What challenges and threats determine security and occupational health in the organization? To answer the research problem, a critical analysis of scientifi c literature and legal acts, especially the Labor Code, was used, as well as reliable Internet sources to collect information on contemporary challenges and threats in the researched area.
