Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this argument is to analyze the formula of language education coursebook in two series : Rediscover and Understand the world. The second one presents a model ofmodern communication education, based on the theory of speech acts and the creation of various statements in accordance with the explicit intention, it has no knowledge and spellingexercises. Rediscovered cycle proposes a traditional approach to language education, much space is devoted to exercises that improve spelling and written language. It is a decisionresulting from the correct interpretation of the actual educational needs by the authors of the coursebook, as evidenced by the results of the empirical study in the basic vocational school. It has shown that there are deficiencies in language skills among students, which applies even to the knowledge of spelling rules.
