Addressing Problem Behaviour in Primary Schools: Prevalence, Prevention and Approaches

Summary/Abstract: This paper looks at problem behaviour in primary schools, its occurrence and prevention. We analyse the causes of problem behaviour and its different forms such as aggression, bullying, cyberbullying, truancy, addiction and substance abuse. We also look at the counselling and prevention system. The paper also focuses on the occurrence of problem behaviour in primary school level 1 in the Ružomberok district, where we map the current situation in schools.
