Methods and means of the comparison expression in the literary speech (on the example of the fairy-tale poem ―The Maiden Tsar‖ by M. I. Tsvetaeva)

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the system of the methods and means of the figurative comparison expression in the fairy-tale poem ―The Maiden Tsar‖ (1920) by M. I. Tsvetaeva. Objects of attention are such dominating methods as the use of the comparative conjunctions, the construction with Ablative of Comparison, negative comparison. In addition, the article represents the results of analysis of less common methods: the use of the comparative adjectives and adverbs, constructions with a dash before the nominative part of the compound predicate and between the predicative parts of the compound sentence without a conjunction, lexical means with the comparative semantics, and the indefinite comparison.
