Summary/Abstract: The article examines semantic and stylistic features of the use of the Slavic enlighteners’ Cyril and Methodius names in the city newspaper “Kuznetsky rabochy” (Novokuznetsk, Russia) representing regional media discourse and demonstrating value system of the contemporary. The Siberian city newspaper actualizes the topic of the preservation of historical memory and cultural traditions.
