Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the linguistic representation of the cognitive categories totality/partiality in the Russian language. Aspects of totality, such as compactness, additivity, integrativity, totality, generalisation, universality, are identified, and their manifestation in the lexical and grammatical semantics in linguistic items in Russian are discussed.
