Summary/Abstract: The novel „Under the Yoke“ is one of the Bulgarian literature’s masterpieces which is the most publishing book. It has been published 50 times since its issue in 80s of the 19th century. The book has been translated in many languages – Chinesе, Armenian, Albanian, Estonian, French, Serbian, Greek, Ukrainian, Spanish and Russian. The first translation into Russian is done in the late 19th century. This research is based on the novel’s translation from 1977. It focuses on the problems in translating addresses in the novel. The collected empirical material is systematized in different semantic groups serving as a base for development of several parallel translation corps. From the angle of methodology of teaching translation corps of this kind are differing high practical application in foreign language learning and translation. The article examines the selection of translation of the anthroponyms like an addresses, reverse addresses, kinship addresses, status addresses, turkish addresses, connotative addresses.
