Summary/Abstract: In this study, general information about wind energy is given. The development of this energy type in Turkey and its importance for Türkiye will be emphasized. Because energy is very important for increasing population. But alternative sources have begun to come to the fore because energy resources cannot be used efficiently or cause crises in the country’s economies. In this context, wind energy emerges as a new and ready-to-use resource that has the potential to meet these needs. The privilege between the energy obtained from this energy is that it is clean, renewable and does not have a high cost. Considering the European continent, Turkey is the most productive country for using of energy.
