Summary/Abstract: People with joint disease are prone to other diseases, such as osteoporosis. Their care can be considered as part of the general integrated approach by providing health, social, educational, etc. services. We conducted a polymorbidity study of 26 patients with joint diseases in a specialized rheumatology practice, Stara Zagora. Along with the assessment of concomitant chronic diseases such as cardiovascular risk, depression, etc., the FRAX tool was applied to identify fracture risk by a trained nurse. The results of the scientific study show that the use of FRAX successfully complements the methodology of a comprehensive clinical assessment carried out by a nurse independently.
