Summary/Abstract: Digital competences include knowledge and skills in the following areas: information and data, communication and collaboration, creation of digital content, security and troubleshooting. In this study among undergraduate medical assistant students, we have identified skills in basic digital competencies. We assessed the opportunities for independent work of students through computer literacy, which aims to increase the professional preparation of students. Self-training has main features that distinguish it from any other method and it is considered as a form of training and a type of educational work, without the direct intervention of a teacher as a means of involving learners in independent cognitive activity. To increase its effectiveness, it is necessary to take into account the presence of a combination of certain digital, didactic and psychological skills.
