Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this report was to find scientific evidence for the therapeutic benefits and safety of high-frequency and high-voltage currents (HFC) in the recovery stage of diseases and especially of COVID-19 and after COVID-19. Materials and methods: in order to realize the goal set, a search was made in the available databases with scientific articles in which the effects of HFC were reported. Results: the conducted search found scientific evidence regarding the benefits and safety of HFC in musculoskeletal, neurological, traumatic and pulmonary diseases, incl. COVID-19. Conclusion: High-frequency and high-voltage currents have thermal and non-thermal effects. They influence inflammation, pain, trophicity, which makes them a suitable and safe adjuvant, physical modality for the treatment and rehabilitation of diseases, incl. conditions after COVID-19.
