Summary/Abstract: In the proposed development, the stages of the analysis of a temperature anomaly on the surface of the Black Sea are followed. Specific features of the anomaly are discussed, such as its uniqueness, and it is shown on the satellite-based data from the NOAA and TOMS platforms over 14 years. The connections of the anomaly with other physical phenomena, which are possibly the basis of its genesis, are investigated. The complex approach to satellite measurements and other temperature deviations on the surface of large water basins is shown.
