Summary/Abstract: The state has acknowledged the individual's right to keep their religious beliefs and adopted faith private. The law prohibits the collection of any data regarding a person's faith or religion. However, employers are allowed to process employees' personal data (specifically related to adopted religion) for the purpose of granting public holidays and religious holidays. The collection of personal data, including information on individuals' religious beliefs, is permitted for religious organizations for a legitimate reason, with these organizations being considered joint controllers alongside their preaching members.
