Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to the study of past tense verb forms from two texts of the kitab by Aisha Smolska (kept in the collection of the National Museum of Lithuania, R13-032), which was written in the territory of contemporary Belarus in the first half of the 19th century. The interest in the texts analyzed below stems from the fact that each of them represents, respectively, the Polish and Belarusian verb systems. Despite the quantitative differences, the forms occurring in the text allow for the presentation of two different verbal paradigms, and the analysis of the forms reveals the features of each of them. The specificity of each of the established paradigms is consistent with other features of both texts, representing, respectively the Polish (borderland Polish) and Belarusian (Russian [Ruthenian]) languages.
