Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic was an opportunity for the education sector to test itself in different settings. In the process, many countries affected by the pandemic have integrated their technology into all levels of education. Educational administrators and faculty in higher education had an important role to play and were required to improve their technology literacy skills in just a few days to become role models for their students. One of these theories - the concept of digital leadership is a leadership model used in response to the situation created with the digital transformation and considered necessary in the main sectors of the information society. In terms of educational institutions, the responsibility of digital leaders has increased. Continuous development and improvement of university governance processes create a more sustainable culture of change. To summarize - leaders who digitize the culture of learning with their digital leadership roles and skills can significantly contribute to the implementation of digital transformation in educational institutions.
