Summary/Abstract: The present article examines personality characteristics such as neuroticism, spontaneous and reactive aggression, irritability, and emotional lability in drug-using teenagers aged 13-18 years. Their behavior is described and analyzed only with regard to the factor of the environment - family, school, peers, society. Peculiarities in the character of the person are considered through the prism of their relative weight for the occurrence and escalation of the use of psychoactive substances. Given that this age is puberty, which means that the personality continues its development and character change, several basic recommendations cannot be made to reduce the effect of the risk factor „environment”, respectively support the development and affirmation of protective factor and preventive actions. To better illustrate the impact of teenage aggressiveness, we include a brief analysis from a survey conducted with substance users and behaviors in informal settings.
