Leasing as a financial service on the real estate market in Poland

Summary/Abstract: Leasing is one of the financial services on the real estate market, allowing enterprises to acquire fixed assets. In addition to financing of the real estate, leasing also brings the complementary benefits for the user, such as advice or clearance and accounting services. The development of leasing in Poland has been limited in the past few years, mainly due to the prevailing economic downturn inhibiting companies investment. The development of leasing as a service on the real estate market can be increased through information activities of leasing companies, showing the advantages of this form of financing, and by developing a range of basic leasing service by complementary services. The purpose of this article is the characteristics of leasing as a financial service on the real estate market and the analysis of development of the real estate leasing market in Poland in recent years.
