Summary/Abstract: This article is sketching some of the relevant tendencies in music education, based on direct collegial exchange with leading European institutes (Vienna, Helsinki, London…), by commenting specific aspects of the contemporary development of the parallel scientific research, supporting the merely musical subjects in the curriculum of the universities, thus aiming to achieve better professional results.
