Summary/Abstract: The moral and metaphysical order represent important coordinates in the philosophy of history promoted by Vasile Pârvan. Stoicism, Neoplatonism and Christianity represent constitutive elements of the moral ideal. The analysis of Greco-Roman antiquity is done through the prism of these elements. Pârvan is a follower of Stoicism, whose ethical principles he promotes and supports with maximum intensity. The main Stoic elements are finite human dignity, duty to the state and to the gods. To all this, religion is added, which is a true spiritual encyclopedia. Understanding the history of humanity is done through metaphysical and ethical aspects.
