Summary/Abstract: In the era of the digital revolution, social networks have become a key tool for election campaigns. Politicians and their teams use platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Tik- Tok and Instagram to reach millions of voters, present their ideas and build their image. But do these networks really help democracy or create new challenges for it?Social networks such as TikTok, Facebook and Twitter have dramatically changed the way political messages are created, disseminated and perceived. These platforms not only facilitated direct interaction between politicians and voters, but also introduced new forms of communication that are faster, shorter and often more emotionally charged.
