Summary/Abstract: Modern societies are both highly politicized and deeply mediatized. Political processes-driven by political parties, their leaders, and the organization of elections-are now largely conducted within the new media environment and through social networks. The effect of this interaction is the rapid forgetfulness, the lapses and the problems before the public memory.
