Summary/Abstract: The present work makes reference to some aspects of the Spanish exile in Romania, after the Civil War, in 1939, as a result of the fact that Franco’s police service never ceased to persecute his opponents, devastating their dwellings, leaving them still sadder and emptier, as if they hadn’t had enough of war. Thus, the outbreak of the Second World War meets some of them in France, while some republicans choose to head for the USA and, some others, for the USSR, the latter including members of the Spanish Communist Party (PCE) and their families. Some of them will reach Romania, and the exiled communist Spaniards are welcomed by Ceauşescu’s regime. Therefore, hosting a radio station on the Romanian territory comes as very natural, when the Spaniards choose to move it from Moscow, in 1955.
