Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the present study is to trace how the disease Nezhit is represented in certain manuscripts, specifically dietary calendars preserved in the National Library of Serbia and the Archives of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. While the study is not exhaustive, it preliminarily outlines the framework for the depiction of this disease in the dietary calendars. For the first time, this publication highlights specific medical guidelines on how to treat individuals suffering from this condition.
