Semantic structure of thematic utterances as a phatic unit for establishing initial speech contact (on examples from Russian and Bulgarian literary texts)

Summary/Abstract: During the initial speech contact the speaker has the opportunity to freely choose various language means described in the speech etiquette. But the deviation from the linguistic norm is observed quite often. In a relaxed dialogue interaction, the initiator of communication can use various thematic statements as phatic units that successfully carry out the act of establishing initial speech contact. In fiction, such statements are characterised by a rather wide semantic diversification.
