Summary/Abstract: The Holy Sinod proclaimed 2022 the Solemn Year of prayer in the Churc’s life and the Christian’s life and the Commemorative Year of the Hesychast Saints Symeon the New Teolojian, Gregory Palamas and Paisius (Velichkovski) of Neamţ, therefore the present paper presents documents about the life of Saint Paisius Velichkovsky of Neamţ. The most important documents selected are the 154 manuscript, from the library of Neamţ, the autobiographies written by Saint Paisius himself and the ones written by his disciples: Spiridon, Vitalie, Mitrofan, Gregory Dascălu (Future Metropolitan of Walachia) and in 19th century Andronic Popovici.
