Information on the Discovery of a New Archaeological Site in the Area of the Rădeni Village-„La Izvor”, Păstrăveni Commune, Neamţ County

Summary/Abstract: Periegetic research carried out in Neamț county periodically brings new discoveries of archaeological sites from different historical stages. Due to its archaeological potential over time, the village of Rădeni in the commune of Păstrăveni, Neamț county has benefited from special attention from researchers, with studies being carried out from 1940 to the present1 . Having as its main objective the verification of sites listed in the National Archaeological Repertory or only mentioned in the specialized literature, in the spring of 2023, thanks to more detailed research we managed to identify a unique archaeological site, which we call Rădeni-,,La Izvor”, commune of Păstrăveni, Neamț county. In the following lines we would like to present to the readers the location of this location, the representative ceramic material as well as a petrographic analysis carried out on a stone axe fragment.
