Summary/Abstract: One of the most focused efforts in eLearning is to enable 3D interactions in the eLearning products and courses. Our team is currently developing innovative software which will bring a complete 3D experience within a SCORM 2004 course. Ascendia Astronomy is a software application based entirely on new multimedia standards: High Definition Resolution, Flash 3D Interactive Engine and a completely innovative 3D content outline which has been implemented by Ascendia R&D team. The product has been designed to be 100% compatible with SCORM 2004 specifications and is capable to run both in SCORM 2004 enabled Learning Management System and in offline mode (in which case LMS - specific functions are not enabled). Integration between the content and the learning path will increase the overall user experience in eLearning courses and will allow the content developers to unleash their creativity for the user benefit.
