The author begins the article by providing a precise definition of a language stereotype based on the research by Bartmiński, explaining its features that differ from the meaning of the prototype presented in cognitive research and prooving that both concepts can complement each other. By connecting them, we can create a full picture of semantic concepts, especially those of strong cultural connotations. The next step is to compare the symbolism connected with the above mentioned concepts and the comparative analysis of their cultural connotations, showing the similarities and differences between those concepts in the selected languages.
