Summary/Abstract: Volunteering is a transformative and evolutionary process that supports the development of skills by integrating theoretical knowledge and turning it into practical skills. This paper analyzes the benefits of volunteer activities carried out within the Secretariat of the Department for Teaching Staff Training (DPPD), highlighting how they contribute to the formation of transferable skills such as communication, organization and time management. The study adopts a reflexive approach, supported by qualitative methods, to highlight the impact of voluntary involvement on personal and professional development. Research shows that volunteering provides an ideal setting for putting theory into practice, supporting hands-on learning. The conclusions emphasize the relevance of volunteering as an educational and training tool, contributing significantly to the training of future generations of professionals. The paper proposes a new perspective on volunteering, seen as a strategic vector for integration into the professional environment and for the sustainable development of individual skills.
