Summary/Abstract: The rescue archeological research made in June-August 2006 in the park in front of the Reintregirea Cathedral (where the flower-spot used to be), ended up with the discovery of a significant number of ceramics, bone and metal objects which , chronologically speaking, belong to the roman, post-roman and medieval period. From the same archeological research, with the above mentioned objects also resulted a number of 79 coins (17 romans and 62 medieval). 52 of them were found in a global-shaped hole, at different depths. With these were also found other ceramic, bone and metal objects. After identifying and analising these objects and the materials they are made of, we can admit the hypothesis that their owner was a sewster and that these coins were “lost” between 1601- 1604, a period of instability, destruction and robbery, as a consequence of the city’s taking-over by the troops of Basta and Moses Székely. It is possible that during this period, the man’s house was burnt, and afterwards, the objects that didn’t burn, hidden or thrown in this dump.
