Summary/Abstract: The funerary roman stela was discovered during the excavations at Alburnus Maior – Roşia Montană, on the eastern perimeter of Ţarina necropolis, in 2004. The typology includes this funerary monument in the category of figured non-architectural stelae with an arched niche. They spread especially to Apulum and in the region of the auriferous mountains Alburnus Maior. The anthroponomy which is mentioned in specific to central Dalmatia with a pannonic influence. The text also indicates a new toponim placed in Dalmatia – Starva – a settlement belonging to the population brought in Dacia for mining activities.
