Education – a theandric and synergistic act

Summary/Abstract: Religious education must not remain solely a responsibility of the family or the cult, but should be viewed as a public issue that needs to be addressed in accordance with related civic, moral, cultural, and community values. Sending such education “into private hands,” as suggested by recent legislative decisions in our country, risks trivializing a critical aspect that could potentially be exploited for ideological purposes. What is needed now more than ever is an inclusive form of education, promoting European citizenship grounded in the effective management of multiculturalism.
