Age, gender and income effects on subjective well-being

Summary/Abstract: Results presented are from two studies – of adolescents (pupils and students) and adults, whereas the effects of gender, age and subjective evaluation of individual income on life satisfaction and happiness. Conclusions replicate the complex influence of individual and social factors on the subjective well-being. Age and gender specific effects are outlined. Special focus discussed here are the linear proportion between high income and life satisfaction and happiness and that notwithstanding dissatisfied, adults can are happy.
