Summary/Abstract: Concern for the privacy of the data that people share with others, as well as the data that is collected about them, has become one of the main challenges in the online world. There is growing research interest in privacy issues when handling sensitive user data when creating or using user profiles. This paper will present a bibliometric analysis of the most important researchers, journals, conferences and associations that deal with issues of data protection during human-computer interaction, with a special focus on the user profile modeling process. In addition, a keyword co-occurrence analysis was made in order to identify key terms related to this area and their mutual connection. A total of 1050 documents from Scopus and 135 documents from the WoS database were analyzed, with one critical review of the results and adequacy of the methods.
