Environmental knowledge and awareness of students

Summary/Abstract: An aim of the article is to show own results of the pilot studies about environmental awareness and knowledge conducted among college students in Szczecin. The research focused on the size of environmental threats, place of environment in value system, respect for the environmental protection in the context of economic activity for the environment and the perception of responsibility for solving environmental problems. The results will allow an in-depth assessment of knowledge and the level of environmental awareness of this social group, which in the near future will decide about the pace in the introduction of permanent and sustainable development.
